The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) and the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), saw Woodruff's volleyball squad beat Chester by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Woodruff upgrades its record to 8-13 on the year. The Wolverines host Emerald (Greenwood, SC) to play the Vikings in a AAA Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 28. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
The Cyclones now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Union County for a AAA Region 4 bout on Thursday, September 28. Chester will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Clinton (Clinton, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-10.
