The Essex Trojans volleyball team (Tappahannock, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA)

The Drifters (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians enter the Northern Neck challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Northumberland was dropped by Middlesex (Saluda, VA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a Northern Neck challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Essex will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA).
