The Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) volleyball nudged the visiting Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA), 3-2 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Waukon betters its record to 8-9 on the year. The Indians travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to face the Chickasaws in a Northeast Iowa outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Chickasaws go into the outing with a record of 20-2.

The Vikings now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Charles City for a Northeast Iowa outing on Thursday, September 28. Decorah-North Winneshiek will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA). The Comets record now stands at 17-4.
