Kansas High School Volleyball - Derby nudged by Hutchinson

The Hutchinson Salthawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Derby Panthers to 1 in the Salthawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Salthawks now have a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newton for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I game on Tuesday, September 26. Hutchinson will meet a Railroaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Railroaders record now stands at 12-10.

The Panthers (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Newton, KS). The Railroaders enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I game with a 12-10 record. In their last game, Newton was nudged by McPherson (McPherson, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
