Mississippi High School Volleyball - DeSoto Central nudged by Oxford

The DeSoto Central Jaguars volleyball team (Southaven, MS), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS)

The Chargers (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 13-15 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Rankin was nudged by Brandon (Brandon, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars encounter the Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) in a Class 7 Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 28. DeSoto Central will attempt to move on its 20-12 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 22-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Hernando (Hernando, MS).
