In Tuesday's league battle, the host Fieldcrest Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the El Paso-Gridley Titans.
The Knights (20-3) will now prepare for their battle against Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Chiefs come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Deer Creek-Mackinaw achieved victory over Fisher (Fisher, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Titans encounter the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a Heart of Illinois battle, on Thursday, September 28. El Paso-Gridley will attempt to advance on its 19-3 season record. The Hornets come into the battle with a 14-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Tri-Valley (Downs, IL).
