With the win, Frederick Douglass upgrades its record to 14-13 on the year. The Broncos host Bryan Station (Lexington, KY) to play the Defenders in a District 42 bout on Thursday, September 28. The Defenders go into the bout with a record of 17-14. Bryan Station lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY)

The Cardinals now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sayre for a District 42 bout on Thursday, October 5.
