The Gallatin County Hawks prevailed the host Pope County Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hawks now have a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 27. Gallatin County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-12.
The Pirates (3-19) will now prepare for their test against Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL). The Cougars enter the Greater Egyptian challenge with a 3-8 record.
