The San Juan Spartans volleyball team (Citrus Heights, CA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Golden Sierra Grizzlies (Garden Valley, CA)

The Grizzlies (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Esparto (Esparto, CA). The Spartans enter the Sierra Delta League challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Esparto was dropped by Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA) in a Sierra Delta League challenge, on Thursday, September 28. San Juan will attempt to move on its 1-11 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Highlands (North Highlands, CA).
