The Spartans now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watsonville for a Pacific Coast - Mission game on Wednesday, September 27. Gonzales will meet a Wildcatz team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Wildcatz record now stands at 6-2.
The Mariners (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Trinity Christian (Monterey, CA). The Warriors enter the Pacific Coast - Santa Lucia game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Trinity Christian dropped by Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
