The Goodland Cowboys topped the visiting Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cowboys now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holcomb for a Great West Activities test on Thursday, September 28. Goodland will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 0-0 non-league Hugoton (Hugoton, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-6.

The Thunderhawks (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Colby (Colby, KS). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Colby was knocked off by Ulysses (Ulysses, KS), 2-0, in a league test.
