In Tuesday's league battle, the host Providence Classical Paladins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Grace Christian Academy Eagles.

The Paladins (24-7) will now prepare for their battle against Covenant Christian (Conroe, TX). The Cougars come into the TAPPS 2A District 6 battle with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Covenant Christian beat St. Joseph Catholic (Bryan, TX), 3-2, in a league match.

With the loss, Grace Christian Academy drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host St. Joseph Catholic (Bryan, TX) to confront the Eagles in a TAPPS 2A District 6 test on Thursday, September 28. The Eagles enter the test with a record of 21-8. St. Joseph Catholic won 3-0 in their recent league test against Chinquapin (Highlands, TX)
