The Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) volleyball overcame the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Grossmont betters its record to 9-8 on the year. The Foothillers travel to Orange Glen (Escondido, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 27. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 7-8.

The Monarchs now sport a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to El Cajon Valley for a Grossmont Valley outing on Thursday, September 28. Monte Vista will face a Braves squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Braves record now stands at 5-11.
