The William Monroe Dragons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks to 0 in the Dragons league victory on Tuesday.

The Dragons now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockbridge County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. William Monroe will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-0.

The Blue Streaks (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers enter the Valley game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Broadway was dropped by East Rockingham (Elkton, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
