Kansas High School Volleyball - Hiawatha over Riverside [Wathena/Elwood]

The Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS) volleyball overcame the host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hiawatha upgrades its record to 17-9 on the year. The Red Hawks travel to Jefferson West (Meriden, KS) to face the Tigers in a Big Seven outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 7-8. Jefferson West 0-0 in their recent non-league outing against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS)

The Cyclones now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Doniphan West for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 28. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Troy (Troy, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-8.
