The Making Waves Academy Marlins volleyball team (Richmond, CA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA)

The Monarchs (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA). The Warriors come into the Bay Counties - General challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Fremont Christian was edged by Quarry Lane (Dublin, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Marlins encounter the Griffin Academy Griffins (Vallejo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Making Waves Academy will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record.
