The Lexington Minutemen volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host LeRoy Panthers to 1 in the Minutemen league victory on Tuesday.
The Minutemen now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heyworth for a Heart of Illinois game on Thursday, September 28. Lexington will meet a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 league win over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 9-8.
The Panthers (12-8) will now prepare for their game against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL). The Vikings enter the Heart of Illinois game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Tri-Valley was nudged by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
