The Hawks now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Betsy Layne for a non-league game on Thursday, September 28. Pike County Central will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-13.

The Cardinals (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Tug Valley (Williamson, WV). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Tug Valley was dropped by Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV), 2-0, in a non-league game.
