Georgia High School Volleyball - Model over Murray County

September 26, 2023: Rome, GA 30161

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) and the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), saw Model's volleyball squad beat Murray County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Model upgrades its record to 25-9 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA) to play the Rebels in a 2A Area 7 bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Haralson County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA)

The Indians now own a 20-6 record. They play next when they travel to LaFayette for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. Murray County will play a Ramblers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Ramblers record now stands at 26-9.
