Georgia High School Volleyball - St. Francis Mount Vernon

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Francis Knights.

The Mustangs (18-20) will now prepare for their battle against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, Miller Grove lost by McNair (Atlanta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Knights encounter the Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA) in a 1A Area 6 battle, on Tuesday, October 3. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 3-21 season record. The Scots come into the battle with a 16-13 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Duluth, GA).
