North Carolina High School Volleyball - Neuse Charter tips Union

September 26, 2023: Smithfield, NC 27577

Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a Carolina 1A match, on Thursday, September 28. Neuse Charter will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).

With the loss, Union drops to 7-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC) to clash with the Leopards in a Carolina 1A match on Thursday, September 28. The Leopards come into the match with a record of 1-12.
