The South Umpqua Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Rogue River Chieftains to 0 in the Lancers league victory on Tuesday.
The Lancers now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West game on Tuesday, October 3.
The Chieftains (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers enter the 3A Far West game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Lakeview was dropped by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
