In Tuesday's league contest, the Springfield Longhorns (Springfield, CO) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots (Vilas, CO), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Granada Bobcats (Granada, CO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 28. Springfield will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Cheyenne Wells (Cheyenne Wells, CO).

With the loss, South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to McClave (McClave, CO) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 7. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 11-0. McClave won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Swink (Swink, CO)
