California High School Football - Independence sneaks past Prospect

The Independence 76ers football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Prospect Panthers to 20 in the 76ers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The 76ers now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gilroy for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Independence will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to Del Mar (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Prospect drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Del Mar (San Jose, CA) to meet the Dons in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Dons come into the test with a record of 4-0. Del Mar won 14-12 in their recent non-league test against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)
