California High School Flag Football - Mesa Verde beat Futures

The Mesa Verde Mavericks flag football squad scored 13 points and limited the host Futures Knights to 0 in the Mavericks league triumph on Thursday.

The Mavericks now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foresthill for a Sierra Delta League test on Monday, September 30. Mesa Verde will clash with a Wildfires squad coming off a 24-13 league loss to Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA). The Wildfires record now stands at 6-9.

With the defeat, Futures drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Aptos (Aptos, CA) to clash with the Mariners in a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 7-4. Aptos won 21-0 in their recent league test against San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA)
