California High School Flag Football - Golden Valley defeats Los Banos

In Thursday's league match, the host Golden Valley Cougars flag football squad scored a good 20-12 victory over the Los Banos Tigers.

The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons enter the Central California Conference match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Atwater thwarted Merced (Merced, CA), 14-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) in a Central California Conference match, on Tuesday, October 1. Los Banos will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Gauchos enter the match with a 14-6 record after their 27-6 league win over Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA).
