The Saguaro Sabercats flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans to 13 in the Sabercats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sabercats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mesquite for a test on Tuesday, October 1. Saguaro will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 28-0 non-league win over Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Leading Edge Academy - GEC drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Benjamin Franklin won 20-6 in their recent non-league test against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)
