California High School Flag Football - Pleasant Grove defeats Sheldon

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) and the visiting Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), witnessed Pleasant Grove's flag football squad topple Sheldon by a count of 34-6.

The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Wolfpack enter the Delta League contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Cosumnes Oaks was outscored by Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA), 13-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Huskies confront the Monterey Trail Mustangs (Elk Grove, CA) in a Delta League contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Sheldon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 7-0 league loss to Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA).
