The Blue Demons (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Blacksburg was nudged by Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Pulaski County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
