In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Rappahannock Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Colonial Beach Drifters.

The Raiders (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Lancaster beat King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Drifters meet the Essex Trojans (Tappahannock, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Colonial Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Northumberland (Heathsville, VA).
