The Chargers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Amelia County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. Lunenburg Central will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Cumberland drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Dukes travel to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Buckingham won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA)
