North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gray's Creek over Douglas Byrd

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Gray's Creek Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Douglas Byrd Eagles.

The Bears (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record.

Next, the Eagles meet the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Douglas Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Bucks come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Richmond (Rockingham, NC).
