The Westmoreland Eagles edged the host Lancaster Red Devils volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 30. Westmoreland will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 3-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Southampton (Courtland, VA).
The Red Devils (2-8) will now prepare for their game against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Royal Tigers go into the non-league game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, King & Queen Central nudged Northampton (Eastville, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
