In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Lovington Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Artesia Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rockets go into the 4A District 4 outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Goddard got by Portales (Portales, NM), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 28. Artesia will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 11-1 league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
