In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Braxton County Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Webster County Highlanders.
The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Huskies go into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record.
Next up, the Highlanders battle the Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 30. Webster County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 0-10 record after their 9-0 league loss to Williamstown (Williamstown, WV).
