The Oakwood/Catlin Comets soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Hoopeston Cornjerkers to 0 in the Comets league victory on Thursday.

The Comets now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Iroquois West for a Vermilion Valley bout on Tuesday, October 1. Oakwood/Catlin will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.
