The Howard Lions soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Marriotts Ridge to 1 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Hebron for a Howard County bout on Monday, September 30. Howard will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Centennial (Ellicott City, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Marriotts Ridge moves to 4-4 on the year. The travel to Long Reach (Columbia, MD) to play the Lightning in a Howard County bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Lightning go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Long Reach lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD)
