Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) and the host Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), saw Marion County's soccer squad triumph over Larue County by a count of 6-0.

The Knights (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Golden Lions enter the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Garrard County was overwhelmed by Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 1. Larue County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Cardinals enter the battle with a 4-10 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Fort Knox (Fort Knox, KY).
