The New Paltz Huguenots held off the host Rondout Valley Ganders soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.

Next, the Huguenots face the Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 30. New Paltz will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Red Hook (Red Hook, NY).

The Ganders (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY). The Dukes go into the Section 9 Division II outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Marlboro Central was edged by Wallkill (Wallkill, NY), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
