With the triumph, Wheelersburg moves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Russell (Russell, KY) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 8-7. Russell lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV)

The Mohawks now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chesapeake for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Northwest will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
