The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) and the host Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), observed Lincoln Southeast's softball team prevail over Columbus by a tally of 15-1.

The Knights (7-15) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus (Columbus, NE). The Discoverers go into the A District bout with a 6-16 record. In their last bout, Columbus was routed by Fremont (Fremont, NE), 6-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Discoverers clash with the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) in a A District bout, on Thursday, September 26. Columbus will attempt to advance on its 7-17 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 11-2 league loss to Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE).
