In Thursday's league match, the visiting Elizabeth Cardinals softball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Sand Creek Scorpions.

The Cardinals (14-3) will now prepare for their match against Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Skyview was routed by Woodland Park (Woodland Park, CO), 17-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Scorpions battle the The Classical Academy Titans (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A CSML North match, on Tuesday, October 1. Sand Creek will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Titans go into the match with a 12-6 record after their 19-9 non-league loss to Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO).
