In Thursday's league test, the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Furlow Charter School Falcons (Americus, GA), by a tally of 7-0.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 30. Taylor County will attempt to advance on its 19-6 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 11-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Coffee (Douglas, GA).

The Falcons (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Crawford County (Roberta, GA). The Eagles enter the 1A D-II Region 6 challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Crawford County was routed by Schley County (Ellaville, GA), 10-1, in a league challenge.
