The Kirksville Tigers overwhelmed the host Moberly Spartans softball squad by a count of 14-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Kirksville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Owls go into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to Fulton (Fulton, MO).

The Spartans (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against North Callaway (Kingdom City, MO). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, North Callaway toppled Montgomery County (Montgomery City, MO), 9-0, in a league challenge.
