Minnesota High School Volleyball - Blaine overwhelmed by Anoka

Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Anoka advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Tornadoes host Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN) to face the Crimson in a Northwest Suburban test on Tuesday, October 1. The Crimson go into the test with a record of 13-7. Maple Grove won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)

The Bengals now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to International Falls for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Blaine will face a Broncos squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Broncos record now stands at 1-11.
