In Thursday's league challenge, the host Arroyo Dons volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the San Lorenzo Grizzlies.

The Dons (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Lancers enter the West Alameda County - Shoreline challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Tennyson was beaten by Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) in a West Alameda County - Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. San Lorenzo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Farmers enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA).
