North Carolina High School Volleyball - New Hanover overwhelmed by Ashley

The Ashley Screaming Eagle topped the visiting New Hanover Wildcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Screaming Eagle confront the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Monday, September 30. Ashley will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to North Brunswick (Leland, NC).

The Wildcats (1-15) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions go into the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, North Brunswick gained a win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 3-1, in a league game.
