Nebraska High School Volleyball - Burke can't hold off Gross Catholic

In Thursday's non-league match, the Gross Catholic Cougars (Omaha, NE) volleyball squad tipped the host Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Cougars battle the South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 30. Gross Catholic will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE).

The Bulldogs (5-14) will now prepare for their match against Bryan (Omaha, NE). The Bears enter the A District match with a 3-14 record. In their last match, Bryan was tipped by Omaha South (Omaha, NE), 3-1, in a league match.
