In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Burlingame Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the San Mateo Bearcats.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Dons enter the Peninsula - Bay challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Aragon beat Sequoia (Redwood City, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. San Mateo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Black Bears enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 league win over The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA).
