The Meridian Wildcats volleyball squad (Meridian, MS), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Choctaw County Tigers (Butler, AL)

With the win, Choctaw County improves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Sweet Water (Sweet Water, AL) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 5 battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 5-3.

The Wildcats now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne County for a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. Meridian will encounter a War Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Stone (Wiggins, MS). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-11.
